Hot Tub Removal

An old spa should not stand between you and a usable outdoor space. Powerhouse Junk Removal handles the dismantling, lifting, and hauling of unwanted hot tubs.

Clear the way for something better

Old spa out. Space back.

Whether your hot tub stopped working, came with the property, or no longer fits your plans, we can assess a removal approach for your setup. We review the tub's size, construction, and route out before starting.

  • Freestanding outdoor hot tubs and spas.
  • Dismantling when needed for a manageable removal.
  • Loading and hauling of the agreed tub components.
  • Debris cleanup around the removal area.

Deck installations, indoor tubs, stairs, narrow gates, and built-in surrounds need extra planning. Send clear photos so we can confirm the scope and access.

Preparing for hot tub removal

Drain the hot tub ahead of your appointment and arrange safe electrical or plumbing disconnection by a qualified professional where required. Our removal quote does not include utility disconnection.

Clear personal items and let us know about any landscaping, fencing, or surfaces that need special care. We will confirm a practical removal route before work begins.

What determines the cost?

Hot tub size, weight, location, construction, and access all affect the removal price. A spa on a raised deck or behind a narrow passage may take more work than one beside a driveway.

We serve Rhode Island and South Coast Massachusetts. Request an estimate for your address, and ask about combining removal with shed demolition or other demolition services.

Hot tub removal questions

Does the hot tub have to work?

No. We assess working and nonworking tubs for removal. Tell us about its condition and any loose or damaged parts.

Can you remove a tub from a deck?

We assess deck installations individually. Photos, dimensions, stairs, and access details help us plan the work. Deck demolition is a separate scope unless included in your quote.

Should I drain and disconnect it first?

Yes. The tub must be drained and safely disconnected from utilities before removal. We will explain the preparation when scheduling.
